EAD: This document proves you are allowed to work in the United States,Renewal EAD: You should apply for a renewal EAD six months before your original EAD expires,Replacement EAD: This document replaces a lost, stolen, or mutilated EAD. A replacement EAD also replaces an EAD that was issued with incorrect information, such as a misspelled name. Permanent Resident

Definition:
Any person not a citizen of the United States who is residing in the U.S. under legally recognized and lawfully recorded permanent residence as an immigrant. Also known as "Permanent Resident Alien", "Lawful Permanent Resident," "Resident Alien Permit Holder," and "Green Card Holder."

Derivative Citizenship

Definition:
Citizenship conveyed to children through the naturalization of parents or, under certain circumstances, to foreign-born children adopted by U.S. citizen parents, provided certain conditions are met.

Alien

Definition:
Any person not a citizen or national of the United States.
